User Profile information including members' pictures and display names are shown to the public on nomination pages to facilitate user interaction in the1000best.com social recognition networking community. Email addresses are also used for the purposes of inviting people to vote or boost a nominee on the1000best.com, and to get people to visit a nominee’s PersonalSpace and view their profile information. Nominee and Nominator users' real names are never directly revealed to the public, only the chosen ‘Display Name’ is shown on the Web site to other users. To facilitate searching and finding nominees on the service, the1000best.com allows users to search for nominees via the Display Name. Searches are never performed on the person’s real name (unless the person has used their real name as their Display Name), email address or other identifying information.

How do we use your information?
